Cosplay at Comicon

This is the last installment of pictures we took while at Planet Comicon. The cosplayers this year were pretty awesome. Wish I had enough crafty talent to create such fantastic costumes.

My friend/co-worker Kate dressed up in her wonderful Dr Who dress posed with some Trekkies. I love the man in the red shirt with the target pinned on it.

Michael Jackson from Thriller made it to the con.

Queen of Hearts….I thought she was awesome!

Syfy Actors at Comicon

The final actor panel that we sat in on at Planet Comicon was Sam Witwer and Laura Vandervoort

Sam Witwer has starred in many things. The two things I know him from are the Stephen King Movie The Mist and Syfy’s show Being Human. Glen knows him as Darth Vader’s apprentice in the Star Wars video games, and the animated series Clone Wars.

Laura Vandervoort stars in Syfy’s show Bitten. It is written from a series of books that I have yet to read. She was also Supergirl in Smallville.

Both actors were very nice and made sure all the fans that had questions got to ask them, which I thought was very cool.

Agent Walter Skinner at Planet Comicon

I absolutely LOVED the show The X-Files. So when I found out Mitch Pileggi was going to be at Planet Comicon I knew without a doubt I was going to go so I could see him. Glen and I sat in on his panel and we, (by that I mean I), were not disappointed. He was very funny, gracious and personable. Now I just want to go re-watch the show.

Nerdfest at Planet Comicon

Yesterday Glen and I attended Planet Comicon. Several great actors from some of our favorite science fiction/fantasy shows were there. Plus, you can never go wrong with the fantastic people watching 🙂

Scott Wilson was there this year. We are HUGE fans of The Walking Dead, so his panel was a must see. We loved his character, Hershel. Of course, Scott Wilson has been in some excellent movies as well such as The Great Gatsby, In Cold Blood and In the Heat of the Night, just to name a few.

Also in attendance this year was Michael Rooker. He played the character we all loved to hate on The Walking Dead, Merle. Unfortunately, we missed his panel because it was on Saturday and we only attended on Sunday. However, he was at his booth meeting and greeting his fans, two of which were dressed as Groot and Rocket from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy.

Stay tuned for more pictures from the Con tomorrow 😉
