My husband was playing with the new camera and attached it to his spotting scope. This is one of the pictures he took. It is quite beautiful, I think.
Webworms sound gross, and they kind of are. We get them every year in the trees. Thankfully, this year, we don’t have them as bad as they do in southern Missouri. I went to visit a friend in Ash Grove and the worms were falling out of the trees. I ended up with one falling down the back of my shirt. Did a nice dance until I got it out.
You can’t see them in this picture, but this is a web they have woven in one of our persimmon trees.
We had a cold front move into our area and the temperatures have really made it feel like fall is finally here. It also makes the dogs more active and playful.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
