Go Away

Sadie is a cutie, but I don’t think she was ready for her close-up.

New Lens

Glen got me a new camera lens for my birthday.  The weather has been too crappy to go outside and try it out.  So here is a picture of our cat, Lily.

Officially Open

Today my good friend, Vickie and I went for a nice long walk on the newly open Rock Island Trail.

Of course Sadie had to help me put on my hiking boots.

Naturally the litterbugs have made it to the trail and I am hoping that the state will splurge for some better signs in the near future.

Today was a dreary day, as it has been for over a week.  However, the temps were in the 50’s so can’t really complain.

We didn’t see any deer, but did see the tracks they left behind.

This was the weirdest thing we saw while on our walk.  Not sure if someone buried Fluffy out here or what.  In all it was a good walk.  We got in 4.57 miles.  Will definitely need to bring the dogs out in the near future for a nice long walk to wear them out.

Special Christmas Gift

Glen and I, after much deliberation, decided to give Taffy the ultimate Christmas gift.  We gave Taffy the gift of adoption.  So naturally I had to dress her up for the occasion.

Tippy wanted in on the dress up action too.

Baby it’s cold outside

I bought James some new sweaters on black Friday.  This week our temps took a nose dive so he is ever so grateful for the new threads.

Tippy’s Fall Photo Shoot

He looks pretty, but he is nutty as a fruitcake.  This is Tippy.  We “inherited” him from Glen’s mom when she moved to an independent living apartment. He is mostly a good boy, but he has issues that I doubt we are going to be able to break him of.

Destruction

If it weren’t for pesky moles and 4 dogs we would have a pristine yard.
