In an effort to be more healthy, Glen and I tried our hand at making kale chips. First we went to the store and bought some kale…and were quite surprised at how expensive this hearty leafy green is.
Glen cut the stem off and chopped the kale into about 1 inch pieces and put it in a bowl with some olive oil.
Then we laid it out on a cookie sheet and seasoned it with some salt and chipotle chili pepper. However, after I tasted our first batch, (so spicy), the other half was seasoned with salt and smoked paprika. We baked it at 275 degrees for 20 minutes.
Glen and I both thought these were very tasty and will be making them again.
